ASSISTANT
COACHES
Jacinta Nash or 'Nashie' as
the kids know her, is a highly experienced athlete & coach, having
completed as recently as 2008 at a National standard (Australian
Open Athletics Championships). Jacinta is a Green Licence coach and
has worked with Swimming Victoria's Development Squad for a number
of years. Jacinta has a endless knowledge of core strength drills as
well as aerobic exercises, and swimmers interested in completing
some dry-land activities at home should ask Jacinta for some
swimming-specific exercises. In her spare time Jacinta is usually
found running laps of Aberfeldie Aths Track or completing her own
training sessions in the pool. Rochelle Brennan has been coaching at North-West
Aquatic for more than four years, having formerly competed within
the District (she still holds a district record). 'Chelle' is a
former national level Breaststroker and brings a wealth of
competitive experience to the club. Rochelle has at one-staged
coached most of the kids that have come through the NWA program. In
her spare time Rochelle is usually found working the treadmill in
the gym or somewhere down the surfcoast. Julia McGennisken,
Lana Stubbs, Jade Panozzo & Emily Lauk are former swimmers
that have been assisting the NWA program for a number of years. We
also welcome one of our National Swimmers Emily Nicol
to the coaching team from this season.
